In a professional world that is constantly evolving, continuing education is no longer an option, but a strategic asset. The School of Management Fribourg supports specialists and managers in developing the skills they need today and in the future through programmes rooted in business realities and focused on practical application.
In response to economic, technological and societal changes, the School of Management Fribourg continuously adapts and improves its continuing education programmes to ensure that its offering remains fully aligned with market developments and the expectations of its participants. These programmes, designed for professionals in both business and public administration, cover both general management approaches and highly specialised fields of expertise. The programmes are often developed in collaboration with other universities of applied sciences or recognised professional associations in Switzerland, and are delivered by experts with extensive practical experience.
A practical approach is one of the School of Management Fribourg’s key strengths and reflects its strong focus on the needs of its participants and partners. The programmes are designed and tailored to address the specific needs of businesses, public administrations and professionals, who play a central role in the learning process. With content that can be directly applied in everyday professional contexts, the programmes enable participants to develop the essential tools required for successful leadership, gain a comprehensive understanding of business operations and explore the full range of organisational functions. A commitment to supporting organisational transformation, as well as ensuring that learning is firmly embedded in professional practice, is an integral part of the School of Management Fribourg’s educational philosophy.
La formation tout au long de la vie est une ressource stratégique pour le développement de l’entreprise.

Beyond technical and managerial skills, continuing education at HEG-FR also fosters networking and knowledge exchange among professionals from a wide range of sectors. Exclusive meetings with business leaders and dedicated events give participants the opportunity to expand their networks and compare their experiences with the strategic realities of the field. The continuing education programmes are built around three key pillars — management, communication and transformation — offering a wide range of CAS and DAS programmes, complemented by micro-certifications and short courses, as well as a unique Executive MBA programme.
Each year, HEG-FR awards diplomas to an average of 200 participants from its certificate programmes and delivers more than 1,000 days of short-course training. Thanks to its close ties with key industry players in French-speaking Switzerland, the school anticipates the future needs of the market and continues to expand its portfolio with new programmes, because investing in education today means shaping the skills of tomorrow.
Online information sessions are held regularly to present the full range of programmes offered by HEG-FR.
